Hello, first off I would like to say that I love what JonoF has done to Duke Nukem! Everything is really really nice! The installer was a nice touch too!
Anyway, I just tried the multiplayer, and its nice, but a little tedious. I was wondering if I could make like a batch file or something, but I dont know how to get the batch file to save a value (the ip adress of the host).
Please, does someone know of a faster way?

Did you try it with DukesterX or from ingame? It sounds like you were doing it from ingame, So if you didn't know, here is the link to DukesterX: http://forums.dukesterx.net/portal.php

I was doing it from ingame. I used the command line arguments. I also tried Dukester X and it is not as good as using the command line. Duke3d gets stuck at waiting for players sometimes, well I guess its all still beta right?
I'll just use the command line.

can you guys please explain how you play multiplayer, I am really confused when it comes to doing all the command lines.
It talks about dukesterx and command arguments, like -net -n0:2....
Anyway, typing duke3d/? show all the possible options :)

AARGH!!!
It keeps happening to me too!
How do you get around that?? I try and use the command line params and join a totally bogus IP and it STILL hangs at Waiting for players..
Have you found away around this? I can't play online! :(

Remember...
The server needs to put 'n0:2' command option, the clients just need to put 'n0' !!
I prefer to use dukesterx, this program automatizes this :)
